Albert Einstein (1879 to 1955) was a German-born theoretical physicist whose ideas replaced the Newtonian picture of the universe. Early Life

Albert Einstein was born on 14 March 1879 in Ulm, a town in the German kingdom of Wurttemberg, to Hermann Einstein, a salesman and engineer, and Pauline Koch [1]. He resigned from the Prussian Academy, saw his property seized and his books burned, and in October 1933 settled at the new Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey [1][3]. The reach of Einstein's achievements grew after his death.
